In 1987, Dr. Dre joined the legendary rap group N.W.A., alongside Ice Cube, Eazy-E, MC Ren, and DJ Yella. The group's raw, politically charged lyrics and confrontational style made them a force to be reckoned with in the music world. Their album "Straight Outta Compton" became a critical and commercial success, solidifying their status as pioneers in gangsta rap.
